3. Cameron Seldon, WR

Cameron Seldon adds some athleticism to the receiver room at Tennessee. The true freshman from Browns Store, Virginia played at Northumberland High School. In his most recent season, he rushed for 551 yards and 11 touchdowns and caught 18 balls for 365 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also returned 3 kick-offs and a punt for scores.

These numbers tell the story that he is an athlete and can play all over the field. A guy like this needs to be a part of the game plan, especially breaking in a new quarterback. Having a player that can keep the defense guessing on the basis of his versatility can take some pressure off of the quarterback and open up the game for the rest of the offense.

It will be very important for Tennessee football that their offense does not take a major step back in 2023. It is hard to believe that the loss of Hendon Hooker will not be felt to some degree, but the hope is that the addition of some athletes on the offensive side of the ball such as Seldon will allow that to be as small of a backslide as possible and keep the Vols in the conversation.
