We all got our first taste of freshman receiver Jaden Greathouse in the spring game and he didn’t disappoint. It was clear that he looked the part of a Division 1 wideout and he could crack the regular playing rotation this year, especially because there’s a need for someone to really step up as that go-to target.

With Sam Hartman taking over at quarterback, he’s going to need all the help he can get from the younger talented guys like Greathouse and a couple of other freshmen receivers (one more for sure that you might just read about on the next page).

Greathouse has a solid 6-foot-1.5, 220-pound frame and that kind of size will make him a tough matchup for cornerbacks, especially when he has the ball in his hands in the open field.

Notre Dame returns guys like Jayden Thomas, Lorenzo Styles Jr., Tobias Merriweather, and Deion Colzie while bringing in Kaleb Smith from Virginia Tech, but the Irish could use a budding star like Greathouse to come in and just make a statement right away.

But will he be the only freshman wideout to do so?
