Texas A&M football will be entering a crucial year under Jimbo Fisher. Fresh off a five-win season in 2022, Fisher needs to prove that was an outlier and get back to his winning ways in 2023.

One way he can do that is by utilizing yet another elite recruiting class. He landed the No. 1 class in the nation in 2022 and his 2023 class was No. 10. That means that there are going to be a number of high-impact players joining the team this summer.

Which freshmen will have the biggest impact in 2023?

Jimbo Fisher went out and got some key secondary pieces via the transfer portal this offseason and he even landed some high-impact freshmen like Bravion Rogers. The former top-100 prospect should have an immediate impact in the secondary despite Tyreek Chappell returning.

Texas A&M also brought in Tony Grimes from North Carolina, Sam McCall from Florida State, and Josh DeBerry from Boston College.

But I still see Rogers getting some early playing time and some even believe he’s going to crack the two-deep by the start of the season.

Texas A&M had one of the better pass defenses in the country last season, allowing just over 150 yards per game through the air, and the Aggies will have a starter at cornerback to replace. Will that eventually be Rogers? I wouldn’t be shocked.
