Minnesota football

Another team that’s gone under the radar in the 2024 college football recruiting class is Minnesota football, which is also ranked in the top 10 right now.

Like Stanford, Minnesota has a bunch of commitments already with 21 total. Eight of them have pledged his month to P.J. Fleck and the Gophers.

This includes some of the top recruits in the Minnesota football class currently committed and one of those is offensive lineman Nathan Roy. He’s ranked 174th overall and just committed on Saturday.

Roy is the only four-star recruit committed to Minnesota right now but the Gophers have 16 commitments ranked in the top 1,000. That’s really solid for Minnesota football.

Fleck has figured out his formula in Minneapolis. It’s not going to have the Gophers leading the blue-chip ratio anytime soon, but after three straight top-50 classes, a top-25 class might even be possible for the Gophers, even though there’s a long way to go.
