The Big Ten East will be most exciting division in college football
The 2023 college football season is just more than two months away and here’s why the Big Ten East will be the most exciting division this season.
Like most college football fans, I can’t wait for the start of the 2023 season. Week 0 is now officially 66 days away (in case anyone is counting).
It will be here before we know it. But 247 Sports put out an interesting article related to the 2023 season, ranking the top five games for the 2023 college football season.

What I found most interesting is that three of the top five college football games to look forward to in the 2023 season will be played within the Big Ten East.
Michigan has won the division and the Big Ten two years in a row. However, Ohio State is loaded, like the Buckeyes always are, and they were just a field goal away from playing for the national title.
Penn State can’t be counted out though. The Nittany Lions won the Rose Bowl and finished with an 11-win season just like Ohio State. Penn State also has former five-star quarterback Drew Allar to match J.J. McCarthy at Michigan and Kyle McCord, who I expect to start for Ohio State.
The Big Ten East will be crazy exciting
You’ve got three teams loaded with blue-chip talent, all with a top-100 signal-caller running the show. All three teams have proven head coaches and each has won the Big Ten championship.
It’s going to be crazy fun and for the second straight year, the College Football Playoff could feature two teams from the Big Ten East in the playoff.
Of course, the three games listed by 247 Sports will decide that. Penn State will play at Ohio State in the No. 5 game of the 2023 college football season (via the 247 Sports article).
The No. 3 game is Michigan at Penn State, while No. 1 is Ohio State at Michigan. Florida State at Clemson and LSU at Alabama were the other top-five games.

It’s hard to argue with any of those selections. It’s also hard to argue with the fact that the Big Ten East is the best single division in college football.
