Official visit season has been fun for Georgia football fans during the Kirby Smart era because, well, the Bulldogs can pretty much land whoever they want these days.

The Bulldogs host some of the nation’s best recruits and that’s going to continue to be the case for as long as Smart is in town and winning national titles.

You know your program is unbelievable on the recruiting trail when it can look at a top-150 recruit and pretty much say, “I want you to play for us,” and he does just that. Well, that seems to be the case these days and the Bulldogs may be close to landing yet another top-150 kid in linebacker Kristopher Jones from Fairfax, Va.

Jones took an official visit to Georgia just this past weekend and he doesn’t have more planned. And he’s getting crystal ball predictions to Georgia on Wednesday.

In fact, 247Sports national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn set off a trio of crystal ball predictions for Jones in favor of Georgia on Wednesday afternoon.

The rich (Georgia football) keep getting richer

According to 247Sports, Jones is the No. 103 recruit in the class and the 10th-best linebacker. The composite lists him as the No. 9 linebacker in 2024 and Virginia’s No. 1 prospect.

Of course Georgia is going to land him if it wants.

The Bulldogs have the No. 1 recruiting class in college football for 2024 and they’ve also had one of the most loaded defenses in the history of the sport for years. That’s clearly not going to change any time soon.

Georgia currently has seven (!!) top-150 defensive recruits committed to its 2024 class and Jones would make it eight. That defense just continues to reload and be a nightmare for the rest of us.
