4. Ole Miss Rebels

I know what you’re thinking: Ole Miss? How? Why? In what world?

And honestly, I don’t blame you. Ole Miss has not won a conference title in over 50 years (1963) so it just feels like the Rebels are irrelevant in the SEC championship race, but they’re in the SEC West which may be more wide open this season than it’s been in years. The East, on the other hand, just feels locked up by Georgia.

If Ole Miss can find a way to steal a win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa or just not suffer any upset losses and just lose to the Tide and Georgia Bulldogs and pull off an upset of LSU, there’s a legit chance that this team will represent the West in the title game.

Jaxson Dart is back at quarterback and he’ll be pushed by Spencer Sanders which should make him even more effective this season. And Quinshon Judkins is back as one of the best running backs in the SEC. The offense should take off this season and it’ll help the Rebels compete with anyone.

Don’t sleep on Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. They’re going to sneak up on a lot of people.
