1. Michigan Wolverines

Jim Harbaugh has his mojo back. After hearing all about how he couldn’t find Indianapolis on a map for six years, he’s managed to win back-to-back Big Ten titles while also making the playoff in back-to-back years. He’s gotten Michigan back on top.

And it feels like the Wolverines’ best chance to win a national title for the foreseeable future is in 2023. JJ McCarthy returns at quarterback, Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards are in the backfield as the best duo in the nation, the offensive line might be the best in college football yet again, and the defense is going to be scary.

Harbaugh also gets Ohio State at home in the finale so if they cruise through the rest of the schedule, the Wolverines could finish the regular season undefeated again.

Michigan is my pick to win the East once again and it’s because of the fact that the schedule sets up favorably as well as the growth and maturation of McCarthy at quarterback along with two elite running backs behind him.

It’s hard to believe that this team had more questions than answers to start the 2022 season.
