1. Alabama makes it to the national title game vs. Georgia

When you win six ranked games in the regular season and head into the SEC title game with either zero or one loss, there’s an overwhelming chance you’re going to be heading to the College Football Playoff.

Alabama will either be 12-0 or 11-1 heading into the SEC title game and that means a loss may not mean much of anything when it comes to the playoff other than seeding. I think the Tide will be a lock to make the playoff after the regular season, especially given the elite resume of ranked victories. A win over Georgia in the SEC title game would just guarantee the Tide the No. 1 seed.

As long as Tyler Buchner lives up to the hype like I think he will and the defense continues to be elite, Alabama is going to be in a good spot to win the national title.

People are down more on Alabama before the 2023 season than I can remember in recent memory and I think that’s only going to fuel Nick Saban’s squad. This team is going to be a problem.

Will they win it all? We’ll see, but I think we could see another Georgia-Alabama title game.

One of these 8 teams will win the national title in 2023. dark. Next
