2. KJ Jefferson finishes top 10 in Heisman voting

This may sound insane, but I’m driving the KJ Jefferson bandwagon until it runs out of gas. The senior quarterback may very well be the best quarterback in the SEC to start the season and I think he has a legitimate chance to make a Heisman splash this year.

Do I think Jefferson is going to win the Heisman? No, but I do think he’s going to have a career year and put up good enough numbers to land himself in the top 10 of the Heisman voting.

Just look at last year. He finished with 2,648 yards and 24 touchdowns with five interceptions while completing 68 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 815 yards and nine scores. And yet Jefferson still didn’t get the respect he deserved on a national level.

Imagine what fans are going to say when he passes for 3,500 yards and rushes for 1,000 with 40 total scores. There’s no way he can be left out of the Heisman conversation.
