Georgia football is looking to complete a historic 3-peat during the 2023 college football season and here are three bold predictions for the Bulldogs.

Kirby Smart has built the Georgia football program into a dynasty and with another national championship this season, the Bulldogs will do something that no college football team has ever done — at least in the era of the AP poll — 3-peat.

Georgia football finally got over the hump against Alabama two years ago, and then steamrolled on its way to a national championship last season, outside of the national semifinal against Ohio State.

Michigan has been doing the “beat Georgia” drill this summer. Ohio State, at least its fans, believe they were robbed of a title, thanks to the non-call when Marvin Harrison Jr. was hit by a Georgia football player in the end zone.

Ohio State fans wanted targeting. They didn’t get it and Harrison missed the rest of the game. The Buckeyes lost by one, so any extra points would have really mattered.

At any rate, Georgia football sent a bunch of players to the NFL and broke the record for draft picks. Quarterback Stetson Bennett was among them and that position is one of the biggest question marks going into the 2023 season.

Here are three bold predictions for the Bulldogs

Carson Beck wins the job and the offense doesn’t skip a beat

There hasn’t been much of a quarterback competition for the Bulldogs as Carson Beck seems to have locked down the job.

The former four-star quarterback has an important job, with one key caveat — he doesn’t have the carry the offense.

Georgia is going to have an elite offensive line, maybe the best in college football. The talent at tight end, running back, and wide receiver is just as good, so Beck just needs to play point guard.

People are underestimating him though and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he has an All-SEC type season. At the very least, I don’t see the Georgia offense dropping off much, if at all.
