Bulldogs finish off the 3-peat

Despite a record number of NFL draft picks, the Georgia Bulldogs are going to have an elite defense once again. Heck, their second string would be better than most defenses in college football, which speaks to the depth.

Alabama is my pick to be waiting for Georgia in the SEC championship game. If both teams are undefeated, it’s probably just going to be a game for seeding.

But if Alabama has one loss (remember it has to play Texas) then the SEC title game will be a chance to eliminate the Crimson Tide, just like they have done to Georgia a few times.

That SEC title game might be the most difficult game en route to a 3-peat. A No. 1 overall seed could mean a matchup with Michigan or Ohio State, but outside of one of those two teams or Alabama, I don’t see Georgia losing.

Beck is going to be in the Heisman conversation. I don’t think he’ll make New York, but he’ll be good enough to keep the offense rolling and in that regard, having Brock Bowers doesn’t hurt.

The offensive line could finally win the Joe Moore Award and the defense will be suffocating. Therefore, I’m predicting another 15-0 season for Georgia football and a 3-peat.
