2. Treshaun Ward rushes for well over 1,000 yards

For years, Treshaun Ward has been looking for an opportunity to be the feature back. That just didn’t happen at Florida State. He never carried the ball more than 100 times in a single season with the Seminoles but he is coming off a career year with Florida State.

In fact, Ward had 95 carries for 628 yards and seven touchdowns on 6.6 yards per touch in 2022 and decided to hit the portal to look for a bigger role elsewhere.

Kansas State could offer him a starting role with Deuce Vaughn moving on to the NFL.

While DJ Giddens was a promising rusher and flashed some potential in 2022, I think Ward takes over as the starter and doubles his production from last season behind one of the better offensive lines in the Power Five.

Kansas State returns all five starters along an offensive line that paved the way for over 200 rushing yards per game. Expect a big year for Ward in which he easily clears 1,000 yards.
