2. Jordan Travis finishes top 5 in Heisman voting

As previously mentioned, Florida State has some elite receivers in town to help out the offense as well as a budding star at running back in Oregon transfer Trey Benson who came just 10 yards short of 1,000 yards last season. This offense will him along.

The main reason for this? Jordan Travis.

The senior quarterback who started his career at Louisville has gotten better each year at Florida State and is coming off a breakout season in which he passed for 3,214 yards and 24 touchdowns with only five interceptions. He also rushed for 417 yards and seven scores.

Travis has the talent and potential to be one of the best players in the country and he proved that last year. He’s only going to build on that in 2023 with nearly 4,000 passing yards and 30 touchdowns while rushing for more than 500 yards.

That will be good enough to earn him a spot in the top five of Heisman Trophy voting.
