The Coach Prime era begins for Colorado Football.

If we’ve learned anything from the Coach Prime era at Colorado, “It’s not going to be boring.” Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders has done everything from making controversial comments about how he recruits linemen to having cameras following his every move. Coach Prime has torn the program down to the studs, turning over the roster.

Though it is easier to flip rosters with the transfer portal, Colorado had arguably the worst roster of any Power Five team in college football. Prime has done nothing different than most coaches in his position, but he’s made it public.

Not only has Coach Prime turned the roster over, but he’s also overhauled the coaching staff. Former Kent State head coach Sean Lewis is the new offensive coordinator. Veteran coach Charles Kelly is the defensive coordinator.

Tim Brewster and Andre Hart followed Prime from Jackson State, and quality control coach Vincent Dancy came from Mississippi Valley State. This is a complete regime change in Boulder. The Colorado administration is going all in for football.

Can this work? One thing is for sure; it will be a wild, entertaining ride. Here’s a look at Colorado’s offense, defense, and schedule.
