Georgia Football: On the hunt for 3 straight national titles in 2023
Georgia football Offense Will Have A New Leader
With the graduation of starting quarterback, Stetson Bennett, the Georgia Bulldogs will have a new man under center this fall.
After a competition in the spring that carried into the fall, Carson Beck was named as the starting quarterback for Georgia football on Saturday according to head coach Kirby Smart, beating out a number of other contenders but mainly former five-star Brock Vandagriff, who was rumored to potentially transfer during the spring.
Brock Bowers returns as perhaps the best tight end in the country and they added a pair of transfer wide receivers (Rara Thomas and Dominic Lovett) to add to their already impressive depth at the skill positions.
The Georgia football offensive line will return four starters from last year’s national championship team. Their starting offense is pretty much set in place and that is the least concern among both units on the field for the Georgia Bulldogs this season.
