17. Auburn

If you’ve paid attention to Auburn football over the past few years, you’d know that the fanbase is louder than any out there. Their fans are all over social media with over 800,000 combined followers on Facebook and Twitter and they’ve been very outspoken about the head coaching position.

Bryan Harsin’s off-field activities caught some negative attention and it didn’t take him long to be on the hot seat and then out of town. That kind of stuff just won’t fly with the Auburn fanbase.

And although I may have had some negative encounters with Auburn fans regarding my Payton Thorne takes, I still think that they’re knowledgeable and passionate. As long as they’re not doing the whole “SEC is untouchable” bit, they’re great fans.

Even during a nightmare 2022 season in which the Tigers went 5-7 overall and missed a bowl game, the fans showed up to the tune of 97.4% capacity each week. That was 25th in the nation.
