9. TCU

A fanbase that 20 years ago you probably didn’t even know existed is now one of the best in college football.

TCU wasn’t exactly a household name when it was in the Group of Five but it has become one and its fanbase continues to grow. The Horned Frogs were rewarded last season with a trip to the national title game but thousands of fans on hand witnessed a beatdown by Georgia.

But the fanbase was fun and the Hypnotoad became a national sensation last year. The Horned Frogs have a great fanbase that always seems to show up to support their team even when they’re not contending for national titles.

We did see just how loyal and supportive these fans were last season as they had the second-best average capacity percentage in the nation at an astounding 108.3%. They also have over 400,000 total social media followers which is a strong number for such a small school.

TCU fans just seem like they’d be the most fun at a tailgate.
