24. Kentucky

Surprised to see Kentucky football fans on this list? I know, me too.

We all know Kentucky hoops fans are insane and they have been since, well, the beginning of time but that’s starting to leak into the football program as the attendance was top-notch for the Wildcats in 2022.

Although Kentucky went just 7-6 in 2022, the fans showed up and supported their team to the tune of 98.8% average capacity. That was good enough for 17th in the country and was better than other SEC programs like Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida. That is just insane for a “basketball school”.

Kentucky fans are just a different breed when it comes to college sports because they’ll talk trash to you in regard to football even when they don’t have the best team. And you just have to respect that.

If they put a good team on the field this season, I think we may see that attendance rise to 100 percent — or more.
