Vanderbilt vs. Hawaii: TV Channel, live stream, odds, injuries, weather, series history
Week 0 of College Football is almost back and one thing that shows you’re desperate for college football is getting ready to watch Vanderbilt against Hawaii.
The Commodores crushed Hawaii last season in a 63-10 blowout in a Week 0 game. Vanderbilt and Hawaii will do it again, this time in Nashville for another season opener.
Both teams fell short of a bowl game last season and combined for eight wins. Hawaii actually did well to win three games last season in the first under head coach Timmy Chang. The Rainbow Warriors do starting quarterback Brayden Schager who threw for over 2,400 yards last season, as well as dynamic running back Tylan Hines, but the defense is a work in progress.
Quarterback AJ Swann took over for Vanderbilt as the starter last season and after a top-25 recruiting class two years ago and an uptick in talent, Vanderbilt is aiming realistically for a bowl game under Clark Lea.
The Commodores should have a stellar passing game too with three talented wideouts led by Will Sheppard who had 60 catches for 776 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
For Vandy, winning this game against Hawaii is a must, especially if a bowl game is going to be in the cards, and here’s what you need to know for Vanderbilt vs. Hawaii in Week 0.
