Saturday afternoon’s Notre Dame vs Navy game will have the attention of college football fans everywhere as it’ll be the first real taste of action of the season.

This is the second straight season in which college football will kick off in Ireland as Northwestern and Nebraska set fans up last season with the first game. This one will be just as intriguing as the Irish are one of the top teams in the country and Navy is featuring a new head coach.

Sam Hartman will also begin his Heisman Trophy campaign on Saturday.

Let’s get into the final odds for the 2023 season kickoff in Ireland.

Notre Dame vs Navy odds as of game day

The final odds for the Notre Dame vs. Navy game are in and the Irish are the overwhelming favorites in this one with an over/under set at 48.5 points. So Vegas thinks that Notre Dame is likely to win by almost three touchdowns and nearly 50 total points will be scored.

I wouldn’t be totally shocked to see Notre Dame win by a wide margin considering it’s beaten Navy in Ireland by 27 and 40 points in the last two meetings, respectively.

Spread: Notre Dame -20.5
Moneyline: Notre Dame -1600 | Navy +860
Over/Under: 48.5

Notre Dame vs Navy final predictions

Seeing Hartman on Notre Dame’s side is only going to help the Irish’s chances. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in all of college football and has been for the past few years. In my opinion, he elevates this offense massively and he’s going to have plenty of weapons around him to make his job even easier.

Navy has some solid pieces, led by Daba Fofana, but I just don’t see the Midshipmen being able to keep up with that new-look Notre Dame offense.

I would guess that Notre Dame wins big and covers the spread with a score of 42-13, or something similar to that.
