Nebraska vs. Minnesota will take place on Thursday and here’s how to watch, the injury report, series history, and odds.
The Matt Rhule era begins on Thursday for Nebraska football as the Huskers will travel to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers.
Minnesota might not be a team that folks talk about as a power in the Big Ten like Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, or even Wisconsin, but the Gophers deserve more respect.
In the last three full seasons (non-covid) Minnesota has won 29 games and at least nine wins every time. It’s been an impressive run and it’s something that Nebraska football fans have to be jealous of.
The Gophers are tough and physical. They also know how to create explosive plays and take away the ball. Turnovers killed Nebraska in the Frost era. The Huskers averaged 1.77 turnovers per game the past four seasons, while Minnesota is barely over 1.0.
That’s the difference between the two programs and here’s all the info you need for Nebraska football vs. Minnesota in the Big Ten opener.
