Nebraska football: Final game-by-game predictions for Huskers in 2023
Nebraska at Wisconsin on Nov. 18 (L)
Camp Randall has been a house of horrors for Nebraska football. I believe in Matt Rhule, but I’m not sure the Huskers will be good enough to win at Wisconsin.
The Badgers are one of two teams ranked in the AP Top 25 on this schedule for the Huskers and Braelon Allen is the bigger worry than the new high-flying passing attack. Allen helped turn the tide last year in the second half and he’ll do enough to get the Badgers a win.
Sometimes, one elite player makes all the difference in a close game.

Nebraska vs. Iowa on Nov. 24 (W)
The Huskers ended the 2022 season with a bang, and after two straight losses, Nebraska heads to the postseason on a high note with a second straight win over Iowa.
Iowa should be better on offense with Cade McNamara at quarterback, plus Erick All and some other transfers at the skill positions. However, McNamara was injured last year and got hurt once again in fall camp.
In 2022, Nebraska finally cut out the mistakes, because even under Frost, the Huskers out-played Iowa or were right with them. Nebraska also just fell apart.
That won’t happen under Rhule and the seniors who have been much-maligned go out with a huge win — thanks to a clutch kick late from freshman Tristan Alvano.
