Is it really football season if you or your fanbase aren’t completely overreacting to a blowout win? Georgia football fans are in midseason form after a season-opening blowout win over UT Martin.

The Bulldogs blew the doors off UT Martin on Saturday night, 48-7, but fans still had some things to gripe about — apparently.

Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo replaced Todd Monken and everyone was curious to see just how the offense would operate with a new leader in the booth. The 559 yards and five offensive touchdowns were just not enough to make Bulldogs fans happy because the first half was just full of stagnant play.

Georgia held a 17-0 lead at the half, but the offense wasn’t looking all that impressive.

Who do you blame in that instance? The offensive coordinator, of course.

Georgia football fans are not happy with Mike Bobo

Bobo was on the staff already during Georgia’s 2022 national championship season as an offensive analyst, learning from Monken, and also about a decade ago before Kirby Smart was in town, but it seemed as if he’d forgotten what he was taught if you read Twitter on Saturday night.

You would have thought that Georgia was on the brink of a massive upset because the offense was completely inept if you just read social media. But that was far from the case.

Check out some of the fan reactions to the performance by Bobo.

The play-calling could have been better, but the fanbase completely turned on the veteran offensive coordinator as the game wore on. It seems as if some fans are questioning the hire once again by Smart.
