2. Shedeur Sanders deserves legitimate Heisman hype

I get that it’s Colorado and the chances of the Buffaloes being a New Year’s Six bowl or a Pac-12 title contender just one season after going 1-11 are slim, but there may be two legit Heisman Trophy contenders on this team.

If Shedeur Sanders played for USC or Oregon or any of the other Pac-12 title contenders, everyone would be talking about how he deserves to be the frontrunner for Heisman.

Heck, all the betting apps would have him with the best odds right now.

The dude threw for over 500 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions against the No. 17 team in the country which just went to the national title game last season. He looked darn near perfect on Saturday afternoon and his confidence oozed through his pores.

Sanders needs to be right in the thick of the Heisman Trophy race after Saturday.
