1. Deion Sanders turned Colorado football around overnight

Don’t get me wrong, I know I’m overreacting to one win to start the season and the rest of the 2023 campaign could go south, but Deion Sanders made Colorado football look like a competitive program and legit bowl team overnight.

That hasn’t happened in years.

Just last season, the Buffaloes were 1-11 and everyone was down on the program, calling it dead. But after Sanders took over in the offseason, there was excitement again. People began to believe in the hype and Sanders didn’t disappoint with a season-opening win over TCU.

The Horned Frogs were three-touchdown favorites over the Buffaloes and Colorado took that personally and gave TCU all it could handle. It was an eye-opening performance.

Colorado wasn’t even slightly competitive last season. This year, it’s beating TCU on the road to start the season.

Deion is the real deal.
