2. Devin Neal rushes for over 150 yards

For the past couple of seasons, Devin Neal has been one of the better running backs in the Big 12. And he continues to get better every year.

In fact, as a freshman, he had 707 yards and eight touchdowns on 4.5 yards per carry and then he had 1,090 yards and nine touchdowns on 6.1 yards per touch last season. So far in 2023, he’s off to a solid start, recording 94 yards and a touchdown in a season-opening win. That’s good enough for 7.2 yards per carry.

And he’s going to have another big game on Friday night.

College football fans will be tuned in to see Neal have one of the best games of his career against a defense that should be one of the best in the Big Ten. However, the Illini surrendered nearly 200 rushing yards to Toledo in the opener. Neal will nearly touch that mark on his own.

Neal will finish with 150 rushing yards and two scores on over 7.0 yards per carry.
