2. Audric Estime rushes for over 150 yards

When you listed to college football experts talk about the best running backs in the country, it’s the usual suspects that get brought up. Guys like Blake Corum, Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, and Nicholas Singleton are all mentioned, but why not Audric Estime?

The former four-star prospect who was once committed to Michigan State before Brian Kelly flipped him has gotten off to an incredible start to his junior season. He is now the workhorse back and he’s proving to be one of the best in the country.

Through two games, Estime has 211 yards and two touchdowns on 7.3 yards per carry. That’s just an impressive mark for a guy who has seen his team race out to huge leads before getting sent to the sidelines to rest for the remainder of second halves.

Well, he’s going to add to his impressive start against NC State on Saturday afternoon, racking up over 150 yards and a couple of touchdowns, leading the way for the revamped Irish offense.

It’s time to start talking about the Estime Heisman hype train.
