UPDATE: 2:00 PM ET – Reports are that Travis will come back and attempt to play in the second half. Remains to be seen how effective he’ll be or how long he’ll stay in.

Florida State star quarterback Jordan Travis suffered an injury just before halftime in the Seminoles’ game against Boston College.

With everyone jumping on the Florida State bandwagon, their game against Boston College was thought to be a pretty easy win. Not only has that not materialized, with FSU only leading by a 17-10 score at the half, but the Noles may have suffered a blow for the rest of the game.

FSU quarterback Jordan Travis was tackled while running the ball, and came down with a lot of weight and force on his left hand and shoulder. He left the game visibly uncomfortable and went to the medical tent.

You can see in the video below that Travis is clearly in some pain following the tackle.

The Seminoles did get the ball back with eight seconds left in the half, and backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker came in to take a knee as the half expired.

We’ll update this post as more information and news is provided, but losing Travis could be a big blow to the Seminoles.
