Colorado football: OBJ is rocking Travis Hunter shirt in warmups (video)

Colorado football has taken the sports world by storm and OBJ was rocking a Travis Hunter jersey paying homage to the injured Buffaloes star. 

It’s crazy how Colorado football has captured the imagination of sports fans around the world. You could say college football fans, but the craze has gone beyond that.

The obsession with the Colorado football team has even extended to the National Football League as Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was shown wearing a Travis Hunter T-shirt during pre-game warmups on Sunday.

OBJ was also wearing Randy Moss cleats. But the T-shirt of Travis Hunter seemed to be the headliner and it seems like a shoutout to the Colorado superstar who suffered an injury on Saturday night due to a dirty hit in the Colorado State game.

It looked like the magical ride for Colorado might end with a loss to the Rams, who led 28-17 over Colorado in the fourth quarter.

Yet, Shedeur Sanders pulled a rabbit out of his hat, even with Travis Hunter in the hospital getting examined, driving Colorado football 98 yards, with only two minutes left and the Buffaloes trailing by eight.

Colorado’s last four drives went: field goal, touchdown (plus two), touchdown, and touchdown (plus two). it was an incredible performance. However, the status of two-way superstar Travis Hunter was a top storyline.

The wide receiver/defensive back seems like he could be a first-round pick at either position. People have even been wondering if he’ll be a two-way player in the NFL which is why it’s a shame he suffered the injury.

Thankfully, the injury doesn’t appear to be too serious according to what Deion Sanders said on Sunday morning.

It’s a bummer because that means we won’t see Hunter playing Saturday in the showdown against Oregon but don’t count out the Buffaloes.
