Georgia Tech football leads the all-time series against Wake Forest 23-8 and it’s making its first trip to Winston-Salem, N.C. since 2010.

The Yellow Jackets will bring one of the nation’s top offenses to Winston-Salem, as they rank in the top 30 nationally in total yards (14th – 513.3 per game), passing yards (20th – 310 per game), and rushing yards (28th – 203.3 per game) offense this season.

Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King has emerged as a star in the ACC, leading the conference in passing yards through three weeks. King is going to have a chance to have another big weekend against Wake Forest as the Demon Deacons are 86th in the nation in passing yards allowed which could mean great things this week for the Yellow Jacket offense.

Who: Georgia Tech (1-2) at Wake Forest (3-0)
Where: Truist Field in Winston-Salem, N.C.
When: 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 23
TV: The CW
Line: Wake Forest -3.5; O/U: 59.5

Quarterback Mitch Griffis will make his first start in an ACC game this week. He has completed 61.9 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns this season.

There has been uneven play this season as Wake has played Vanderbilt, Elon, and Old Dominion. So as Georgia Tech comes to town this could be the game that Griffis shows the world he is ready to lead Wake in ACC play. Last week, Wake played a sloppy, sloppy game and had to dig themselves out of a 17-0 halftime hole. The Demon Deacs prevailed with a win, however, thinking the Georgia Tech game is going to have two defensive touchdowns isn’t a realistic thought.

The Georgia Tech game will tell the world about these two programs moving forward.

Let’s get bold.
