Alabama football: 3 reasons the Tide will beat Ole Miss in Week 4
By TJ Heyder
2. Ole Miss can’t win at Bryant-Denny
The Rebels have been historically bad facing the Crimson Tide, holding a 10-55-2 record all-time in the series. A mere four wins over Alabama in the last 30 years goes beyond the point of bullying status considering the two teams meet nearly every year. It’s to be noted that of those four victories, just one of those came in Tuscaloosa.
The loyalty of Alabama fans will be tested on Saturday. A fanbase that’s usually booking hotels for the SEC Championship game this time of year is now on the verge of seeing those hopes vanish, including another missed CFP berth on top. And they know it.
This stadium is going to reach Richter scale-level volumes for their first SEC showdown. Nick Saban was upset with Alabama students and fans a few years back for leaving games at halftime when they were winning by 40+ points. Well, guess what my friend? You got your wish.
Bryant-Denny Stadium will be the most hostile environment in the country this weekend.
