No. 24 Iowa at No. 7 Penn State (-14.5) (7:30 PM EST, CBS)

Penn State had a little trouble with Illinois last week before pulling away in the second half, but Illinois is a tough football team — they just don’t have a quarterback.

Iowa added Cade McMnamara from Michigan in the offseason and he actually won his last start inside Beaver Stadium thanks to a late touchdown to Erick All, another former Michigan player on the Iowa roster.

Through three games, Iowa is 74th in scoring offense. The Hawkeyes also rank 122nd in total offense with 302 yards per game.

Drew Allar gives Penn State the edge at quarterback, plus the Nittany Lions have two elite running backs. They will also be hosting Iowa for a White Out. That would be a tough ask for even Michigan or Ohio State, let alone Iowa, which still has a mediocre offense at best.

Frankly, Penn State is the better team on offense and defense, which is why I see the Nittany Lions winning the game fairly easily.
