2. The defense scores a touchdown

Through the first three games of the season, the Iowa defense has forced only three turnovers, which may come as a shock to some. However, this unit is still a force to be reckoned with as long as defensive coordinator Phil Parker is at the controls.

With small showers throughout the game, it’s only right that the Iowa defense is able to find its way into the end-zone. Drew Allar is a talented quarterback, but he has faced the likes of West Virginia, Delaware, and Illinois in his first career starts so far. None of these teams have a secondary as strong as Iowa does. After all, Allar is only a true sophomore, and is bound to make a mistake at some point. Right?

Whether it’s a pick-six or a scoop and score, the Iowa defense gets it’s second touchdown of the season in a crucial moment.
