2. Jawhar Jordan will get over 100 yards and 15 carries

Jawhar Jordan emerged last year as the top Louisville running back out of the crowded backfield, but so far he has not as many carries as previously thought. However, in the carries he has gotten, he has absolutely dominated. Jordan has 32 carries for the year for 344 yards, four touchdowns, and averaging 10.8 yards per carry.

Jordan only got seven carries each in the first two games but against Indiana he received 17 carries. That’s a trend I expect Jeff Brohm to keep going in Week 4.

I expect Louisville to feed the rock on Saturday and that he will get at least 15 carries, and if the stats tell us anything he’ll make those carries count. Although Isaac Guerendo and Maurice Turner are also rotating in the running back room, Jordan is the clear favorite and needs more carries in games. Louisville needs to close games better and running the ball with Jordan might be the answer.

Boston College gave up over 250 rushing yards to Holy Cross, over 150 to NIU, and 126 to FSU. I fully expect Louisville to attack the Eagles front five, and Jordan will most likely be the guy to do that.
