Another week, another exciting college football slate, kicked off with College GameDay on Saturday morning in South Bend at 9 a.m. ET.

Last week, we saw a star-studded cast in Boulder as The Rock invaded College GameDay to give his picks. He didn’t have ties to either school, but that almost made it better because there was no obvious bias. But he likes what Deion Sanders is cooking at Colorado.

This week, it’s a similar situation.

College GameDay made the celebrity guest picker announcement on Friday morning. And the choice is a popular one with just about everyone. Especially if you love comedy.

Vince Vaughn selected as guest picker for College GameDay

GameDay announced that the ever-popular Vince Vaughn will be the guest picker on Saturday morning in South Bend which was welcomed with open arms by most fans.

As you can see, it looks like Hugh Freeze will make a call into the show, Tim Brown will be on there, and Marcus Freeman will also join the cast at some point.

And then after the dust settles with all the festivities of College GameDay, Vaughn will appear to make his guest picks and they should be pretty good.

While you may think that Vaughn has no ties to Notre Dame, he actually played the role of Jamie O’Hara in the movie Rudy back in 1993. He donned the golden dome on film and you just know Notre Dame holds a special place in his heart as that was his first big break.

I’m going to assume he’ll be riding with the Irish.
