College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 5
Honestly, I felt like Oregon was probably underrated headed into this weekend, but the Ducks asserted their dominance against the No. 19 Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday, taking a 35-0 lead into halftime.
Bo Nix looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the country while Shedeur Sanders’ Heisman hopes took a major hit.
The line for this one heading into the game was -21 in favor of Oregon and while many were hesitant to take the Ducks with the spread, they proved that they were worth more than just 21 points over Colorado. The Buffaloes had their first “welcome to the big leagues” moment of the season, losing by a million points on the road against the Ducks.
This win for Oregon will likely vault them up a spot or two in the rankings while it may also knock Colorado completely out of the rankings.
Oregon is just a wagon right now.
I’m buying all the stock in Dan Lanning because it just feels like Oregon is playing as well as it used to in the glory days of Chip Kelly.
