College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 5
Penn State just continues to impress and I can’t stress enough that this team probably should be ranked as the best in the Big Ten through the first four weeks of the season, but voters are going to value the two big dogs in the conference higher.
The Nittany Lions dominated visiting Iowa for the annual “White Out” game in Happy Valley. They took a 10-point lead into the half and only extended it in the second half, jumping out to a 24-0 lead in the third. This game was officially out of hand.
Drew Allar had himself another nice game as he proved that he could be the quarterback to lead the Nittany Lions to the playoff for the first time.
The Nittany Lions also have one of the best rushing attacks in the country as well as a defense that can clearly dominate — not that Iowa was coming in as some scoring machine.
