1. Sam Hartman

Is just saying “Sam Hartman” as a reason Notre Dame will upset Ohio State really enough? Honestly, yes.

If you’ve watched Hartman at all this season, you’d know that he looks like a quarterback renewed. He was never bad at Wake Forest nor was he ever just average. He’s always been a good quarterback who was a prisoner of a roster with limited weapons.

Now, he’s leading a Notre Dame offense with weapons littered across the roster and more talented receivers and running backs than he knows what to do with.

Hartman is one of the top Heisman candidates in college football for a reason and he’s going to have a ‘Heisman moment’ on Saturday with a near-perfect performance against the No. 6 team in the country.

The whole performance in a win will be a ‘Heisman moment’ but so will numerous throws in clutch situations. He’s going to have multiple plays where fans say “Did he really just do that?” which, in my opinion, is the definition of the term “Heisman moment.”

Hartman will have a big day against an Ohio State secondary that has been lightly tested this season.
