Welcome back to headquarters on the corner of Tobacco Road and the future site of the David Cutcliffe Memorial statue. Listen, if you wanted an absolute classic in the noon Eastern time slot, you got one Eastern time slot. No. 4 Florida State traveled to Death Valley East and won in overtime.

That, however, was not the only story in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets went to Winston-Salem and upset Wake Forest. What is going on in Blacksburg? Marshall defended its home field against the maligned Virginia Tech Hokies. Is head coach Brent Pry on the hot seat?

Speaking of hot seats, the Virginia Cavaliers are still looking for that first win. If there is a silver lining for the V-men, they did play better against NC State. Everyone had better watch out for Louisville. Their schedule makes them a dark horse in the ACC race.
