I firebomb; ghostly notes haunt this
I tried threats but moved on to a promise
I stomp it, with or without an accomplice
And run the gauntlet with whoever that wants this
High voltage
The unforgettable sound
High voltage
Bringing you up and taking you down
High voltage
Coming at you from every side
High voltage
Making the rhythm and rhyme collide

High Voltage  by Linkin Park

Welcome back to Pac-12 power rankings headquarters between — well — the U-Haul, packing boxes, and Two Men and a Truck. This might be the last year of the Pac-12, but the football has been too good to focus on the demise of the conference. It has been high-voltage early in the 2023 season.

Is Washington the low-key best team in the country? The USC Trojans might have something to say about that. Colorado came crashing back to earth against the Ducks last Saturday. It was a reason they were three-touchdown underdogs going into Eugene.

The Washington State Cougars would like to stop in and say hello. They are playing rock-solid football on the Palouse.

So, to bells of victory, cups made of apples, and cups over territories, here are the Pac-12 football power rankings heading into Week 5. Fight On!
