It’s one of the exciting matchups of Week 5. An ACC matchup between Clemson football (2-2) and Syracuse (4-0). The last time these two teams met they were both undefeated. Syracuse squandered a 21-7 lead to Clemson last season.

This season, Clemson already lost two ACC matchups against Duke and Florida State. It’s the first time in 13 years that the Tigers are winless in ACC games.

Syracuse, on the other hand, will be the first real test of the season. The Orange have looked solid but not impressive.

Clemson is the overall better team.

However, this game will determine if Syracuse can silence the doubters and naysayers. Syracuse are seven-point favorites to win this game at home.

Here are some predictions for this game.

1. Both quarterbacks will have big performances

Cade Klubnik and Garrett Shrader are due for a big game and this game will do its justice. Both men are equal in terms of passing yards and completing their passing percentage. Whether it’s with their arm or legs, both quarterbacks will give us a show.

Klubnik wants to be better in this game compared to the game against Florida State. He had 283 yards with a touchdown but it wasn’t enough as Clemson lost to Florida State in overtime.

As for Shrader, he hasn’t forgotten about last season. He wants redemption. This is his moment to settle the score.
