#11 Alabama football wins a tight contest against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Jalen Milroe played his best game in a Crimson Tide uniform, leading Alabama to a 26-20 victory against the Texas A&M Aggies this afternoon in College Station. Milroe had career highs in completions (21), yards (321), and touchdowns (3) against the Aggies.

From the outset, the defenses set the tone for the game. Neither the Crimson Tide nor the Aggies ran the football with much success.

The Aggies got the scoring started in the first quarter after a short punt by Alabama. The Crimson Tide answered with a field goal of their own. They followed their field goal with a touchdown on a 52-yard pass from Milroe to receiver Isaiah Bond.

Texas A&M scored 14 unanswered points to take a 17-10 into the locker room. Alabama struggled to block for Milroe during the first half, and he was under duress most of the first half.

Alabama football made it a point to establish the line of scrimmage in the second half. They blocked better, and the defensive line harassed A&M quarterback Max Johnson. After both teams traded interceptions, Alabama scored the next two touchdowns.

Alabama tacked on a late safety to put the game on ice. Here are more takeaways from the game.
