14. Vanderbilt Commodores 2-5 Overall (0-3 SEC): At the bottom of the barrel in the SEC, they have this class on lockdown as they found a way to lose another game. This time to the Florida Gators by a score of 14-38, losing their fifth game in a row. Life will be formidable, too, as their remaining games are against Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The dream of being in a post-season bowl game is dubious.

13. Mississippi State Bulldogs 3-3 Overall (0-3 SEC): The Bulldogs finished their three-game losing streak by defeating Western Michigan 41-28 at home on Saturday. Mississippi State’s three wins have all come at home, against the Western Michigan Broncos, Southeastern Louisiana, and Arizona. They run into the bye week and will journey to Arkansas on October 21st to play the Razorbacks in a battle for the bottom of the table.

12. Arkansas Razorbacks 2-4 Overall (0-3 SEC): The Razorbacks remain winless in the conference, as their offensive line stays a prominent problem for this team. Head Coach Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks could only sum 36 rushing yards, allowing 10 tackles for loss and heaving two interceptions. In most of the games this year, Pittman’s team has battled valiantly but has come up on the short end of the stick. He has to be on the hot seat at this point. They will find it demanding to keep it close on Saturday as they head to Tuscaloosa to face off with Alabama.

11. South Carolina 2-3 Overall (1-2 SEC): The Gamecocks are coming off an idle week, which couldn’t have come at a better time as they are about to go into a spell that has them hosting back-to-back SEC East opponents in the Florida Gators this week and then facing a road trip against Missouri. They should be able to keep it close and win in both games, but the more feasible outcome would be to split these two. The margin for error is minimal if the Gamecocks want to go to a post-season bowl game.

10. Auburn 3-2 Overall (0-2 SEC): The passing game has been dreadful this year for the Tigers, which could be bad news heading to Baton Rouge to face an LSU team that has been scoring a boatload of points lately. The upside is that the LSU Tigers are giving up yards in bucketloads. This battle will determine whether the Auburn Tigers can slow down the juggernaut of the LSU Tigers’ offense.
