12. Stanford Cardinal (1-4, 0-3): The Cardinal were off this week and tied. Seriously, we’ll see what adjustments — if any — coach Troy Taylor made to prepare for their road game to Colorado. This could be the last opportunity for the Cardinal to get a conference win or another win for that matter.

11. Arizona State Sun Devils (1-5, 0-4): The Sun Devils’ three-point loss to the Colorado Buffaloes was a heartbreaker. However, Arizona State plays hard for its first-year head coach, Kenny Dillingham.

10. California Golden Bears (3-3, 1-2): It’s been a season of ironies for the Golden Bears. It’s a leaky defense, not an inept offense, that has cost the Golden Bears a few games this season. The Bears have allowed over 50 points to its last two conference opponents (Oregon State and Washington). California has a stretch of games that features five ranked teams.

9. Colorado Buffaloes (4-2, 1-2): Colorado found a way to come back and beat Arizona State 27-24 on Saturday. The road to a bowl game is clear for the Buffaloes. They need to be Stanford and Arizona. Colorado hosts the Cardinal on Friday and Arizona in November. The UCLA game could be one where the Buffs can sneak up and pull an upset, but there are two winnable games on the schedule, and they need to win
