Colorado football: 3 bold predictions vs. Stanford in Week 7
While everyone is gearing up for another fun weekend of football, fans will be treated early on Friday night. Stanford and Colorado football will square off in a Pac-12 battle under the lights in Boulder and it’s going to be a nice appetizer for the rest of the weekend.
Stanford is struggling in year one of the Troy Taylor era, sitting at 1-4 and 0-3 in conference play while Colorado has shattered preseason expectations, sitting at 4-2 overall.
Let’s get bold ahead of this primetime (pun intended) showdown.
3. Travis Hunter plays, scores a touchdown
We haven’t seen Travis Hunter take the field in what feels like a month which is disappointing considering the first part of the season was so exciting because of his presence.
Well, he might just be back on Friday night, according to Deion Sanders.
In fact, Sanders told the media earlier this week that there’s a very good chance that Hunter plays against Stanford after suffering that injury to his midsection against Colorado State.
My bold prediction is that he does, in fact, play and he’s going to score his first career touchdown as a member of the Buffaloes. He’ll catch a 27-yard pass from Shedeur Sanders in the second quarter to extend Colorado’s early lead.
A nice comeback for the former No. 1 overall recruit in the nation.
