No. 17 Tennessee at No. 11 Alabama (-8.5) 3:30 PM EST CBS

Both of these teams are on the brink of being knocked out of the College Football Playoff mix. Alabama and Tennessee both have to keep winning and beat Georgia.

Tennessee gets a chance against Georgia in the regular season. The loss to Florida was costly and Joe Milton hasn’t quite lived up to preseason expectations.

Milton threw for just 100 yards last week and a touchdown against Texas A&M, as well as throwing an interception. The Vols survived but Jalen Milroe ranks 21st in QBR compared to Milton who ranks 75th in QBR.

Milroe also didn’t have a great game last week, completing 50 percent of his passes in a 24-21 win over Arkansas. However, Alabama sputtered late offensively.

Still, I trust Alabama more than I trust Tennessee in this situation. The Crimson Tide will get a measure of revenge for last year’s loss at Rocky Top.

Score: Alabama 31, Tennessee 20
