No. 14 Utah at No. 18 USC (-7) Fox 8 PM EST

This is a fascinating matchup. USC was terrible last week in a blowout loss against Notre Dame. The Trojans might not be able to get into the College Football Playoff just by winning out.

USC first needs to beat Utah. It has to win out this season, win the Pac-12, and hope that Florida State and Oklahoma lose somewhere along the way.

If Cam Rising is able to play on Saturday, it would make a difference. Nate Johnson is a talented dual-threat quarterback though and It’s Caleb Williams who needs to figure out the Utah defense.

I believe he will, even if it doesn’t look super pretty.

USC 24, Utah 21

Upset Special: Minnesota over Iowa (-3.5)

Iowa is in a bad way on offense. Deacon Hill, who took over for Cade McNamara is completing just 38 percent of his passes. It’s incredible that Iowa keeps winning. Minnesota hasn’t been great either and Athan Kaliakmanis has been up-and-down. Minnesota needs to be able to run the ball to win this game, but the Gophers defense is pretty stout and I see them winning 16-13.
