College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 9
Man, what a fourth quarter Florida State had on Saturday night. Hosting the No. 16 Duke Blue Devils, the Seminole were looking to make a statement, but they were down 20-17 going in the fourth quarter. Things were not looking good.
Jordan Travis scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and the Seminoles tacked on another score with four minutes left.
A deficit turned into a three-score win over one of the best teams from the ACC and although Riley Leonard wasn’t playing, this was an impressive all-around win by the Seminoles in Tallahassee.
Will we see the Seminoles move up after beating a ranked team handily? Probably not because Michigan dominated Michigan State on the road and Ohio State took care of the No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions.
No. 4 isn’t bad, though.
