College Football Rankings 2023: Projected playoff Top 25 for Week 10
No Brock Bowers, no problem.
Georgia is a force to be reckoned with and it proved that with a 43-20 win over rival Florida in the world’s largest outdoor cocktail party on Saturday. The Gators were the first team on the outside of the AP Top 25 this past week which goes to show just how impressive this win was. And it was even more lopsided, but a late touchdown by Florida made it look closer.
Carson Beck should honestly be talked about as a legitimate Heisman contender after a slow start to the season. He finished Saturday’s win with 315 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.3 yards per attempt.
This Georgia team may not be quite as dominant as the last two national champions, but Kirby Smart’s 2023 version of the Bulldogs is extremely balanced.
This team can defend, pass the ball, run the ball, and there are very few deficiencies. It was impressive to see the offense put up 43 points without its best player.
Georgia will be No. 1 in the first playoff rankings.
